EPIC tribute to Phillip Seymour Hoffman

The 86th annual Academy Awards may be done, but I think here at The Nostalgia Blog we still need to give out our own “Oscar”…a recognition of excellence for the career and life of Phillip Seymour Hoffman.

As if we needed to be reminded about how absolutely legendary Hoffman was as an actor, editor Caleb Slain has put together this video, P.S. Hoffman, as a tribute to the man and his many varied roles. This montage is over 20minutes long and covers 47 of his roles. It will only take seconds until you realize how awe inspiring Hoffman truly was. Of course there was his 2005 Oscar winning role in Capote, but it’s some of his secondary roles and cameos that capture you attention. Enjoy this video and I strongly suggest you go back and re-watch some of his classics: Boogey Nights, Owning Mahowny, Doubt, The Master, Capote, and Charlie Wilson’s War.
