Disney steals from…Disney: Recycled footage

If you steal from yourself is it really stealing? Apparently when Disney decided to make Robin Hood they found it was best to steal from the rich and give to the poor…footage wise…that sounded better in my head.

In this terrible analogy “the rich” are past successful Disney movies: 1970’s The Aristocats, 1967’s The Jungle Book, and 1937’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and the poor is Robin Hood. When you watch this video it is clear that Disney re-used footage (or at least the dance moves from that footage) to choreographic a dance scene in Robin Hood. And to that I say…who cares? Next you will be on me for re-using toilet paper! And before you get all grossed out, I use the old toilet paper to blow my nose. So there.
