‘Jaws’ Celebrates 40th Anniversary With Return To Theaters

Turner Movie Classics in association with Universal Pictures has announced the re-release of ‘Jaws’ in theaters on June 21st and 24th to celebrate the movie’s 40th anniversary.

Over the span of my life, I have probably watched Jaws around 20-25 times. It was the first (and only) horror movie that I ever watched with my dad growing up and I seem to get sucked into it every time it is on AMC. I have a feeling AMC paid a shit-ton of money to air the Jaws and Jurassic Park franchise because they seem to be on a continuous loop…

Anywho, this movie was the biggest reason I was scared of the ocean growing up, but after years of watching Shark Week on Discovery, I now know I have no reason to fear sharks in the ocean. Sharknados, that’s the real threat.

To get you ready to see the film on the big screen here is the original trailer. Afterwards you can watch Steven Spielberg get snubbed by the Oscars. Enjoy!
