Throwback Thursdays! “Gone Till November”

Hi friends! It’s been a few weeks since I have written anything, let’s just say it’s because I was a star witness for a trial that put some bad people away for a very long time. I mean, that’s not true at all, but let’s say it anyway. Anywho, we’re in the throws of October which means we are less than a couple weeks away from November, when Wyclef Jean said he’ll be back! From where? How the hell do I know? My relationship with Wyclef is on a “need to know” basis. Enjoy.

I’ve bought worse things: R2-D2 Coffee Press

Well, ThinkGeek has done it again. I mean, is there anything these fine folks can’t create? Yes, they can’t create a desire for your parents to be proud of you. How’s that Philosophy degree working out for ya? Anywho, this is a pretty sweet coffee press made in the image of Star Wars fan favorite R2-D2. No word yet if it does R2’s famed scream when you pour out the coffee but fingers crossed!

Good Job Nerds: Glitch in Original Legend of Zelda Game Allows Finish in 3 Minutes

This is a glitch I never knew about for a game I’ve never played, so imagine my excitement when I heard about it. However, much like in tender love making, this isn’t about me, it’s all about you, and perhaps you care about it. You don’t? Well, too late, I already started writing the post! Anywho, this is a glitch found in the original Legend of Zelda game for the Famicom (but not Nintendo) that allows a player to beat the game in under three minutes. It is a very well explained video and I’m sure people smarter than me will really appreciate it. I however just watched the first couple minutes, thought to myself “okay, cool” then when back to making Pop Tart sandwiches (that’s where you use Pop Tarts as bread and ice cream as filling!). Enjoy!
