Whoomp There It Is: Crystal Pepsi is Coming Back!

OH MY GOD! I can’t even….words not coming…too excited! Okay, okay. I’m better now {clears throat}, apparently Crystal Pepsi will be hitting the shelves this July and HOLY SHIT I AM SO GODDAMN EXCITED! Fuck it, I can’t type, I’m too busy giving high fives to people in the coffee shop where I’m writing this post. They have NO idea what’s going on as I am inaudibly saying “The Pepsi….It’s Crystal again. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!” And now I’m being asked to leave by some very kind police officers. Just watch the video below for more. Crystal Pepsi!

The Time Dave Grohl Improvised ‘Stairway to Heaven’ and ‘Tiny Dancer’ on Kilborn

Dave Grohl has always been my guy. From the day I got into rock music, there was Dave, whether it be as the drummer for Nirvana or lead singer of my all time favorite rock band Foo Fighters. Now, I have enjoyed the music Dave Grohl has put out over the years but what really drew me to him was his personality. Every time I saw him in an interview he seemed so honest, done to earth and most important: Funny as Hell! I could go on and on for hours about all the things I love about Dave Grohl, but luckily for you there are two appearances Dave made on Kilborn back in the early 2000s that pretty much capture all that is great about him. In both of these videos it is simply Dave Grohl being himself, having fun and playing music. The first video is Dave performing ‘Stairway to Heaven’ by Led Zeppelin. From the get-go, Dave is just having fun with it. Throw in some forgotten lyrics and an improvised guitar …

‘Jaws’ Celebrates 40th Anniversary With Return To Theaters

Turner Movie Classics in association with Universal Pictures has announced the re-release of ‘Jaws’ in theaters on June 21st and 24th to celebrate the movie’s 40th anniversary. Over the span of my life, I have probably watched Jaws around 20-25 times. It was the first (and only) horror movie that I ever watched with my dad growing up and I seem to get sucked into it every time it is on AMC. I have a feeling AMC paid a shit-ton of money to air the Jaws and Jurassic Park franchise because they seem to be on a continuous loop… Anywho, this movie was the biggest reason I was scared of the ocean growing up, but after years of watching Shark Week on Discovery, I now know I have no reason to fear sharks in the ocean. Sharknados, that’s the real threat. To get you ready to see the film on the big screen here is the original trailer. Afterwards you can watch Steven Spielberg get snubbed by the Oscars. Enjoy!

Of course you did: Jean-Claude Van Damme Bloodsport Chase Scene Re-Cut As Mentos Commercial

This is the greatest thing to happen to Mentos since someone through a few of them in a Coke bottle and flew to the moon…or something like that. It is a video of Jean-Claude Van Damme in a chase scene from Bloodsport that’s been re-cut as a fake Mentos commercial and it is crazy how well it matches up. It is also more believable then JCVD playing an American in the movie. Enjoy!

Aunt Linda’s Tasteless Turkey

For years my Christmas Day Family Tradition consisted of driving 45minutes to my Aunt and Uncle’s, where we would watch some television, gossip about other family and sit down for turkey dinner. My Aunt always had her hands full with dinner. The turkey would be just a little overcooked, the mashed potatoes were always lumpy, and the gravy was even worse. Yet, I wouldn’t have it any other way. It was exactly like the dinner scene from Christmas Vacation, only without Chevy Chase. Randy Quaid was there though.
