Stay in School: Most Movies/TV Shows Filmed At The Same High School

This is John Marshall High School. It is located in Los Angeles, California and pretty much every movie/tv show you have ever seen involving a high school was filmed here. Well maybe not every movie/tv show, but a pretty good amount. Check it out:   Can’t Hardly Wait   Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me   Buffy The Vampire Slayer   Boy Meets World Well the outside at least…   The Wonder Years   Other movies and tv shows include: Room 222, Mr. Novak, Bachelor Party, Smart Guy, Sister, Sister, Grosse Pointe Blank, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Supernatural, Boston Public, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, Cory in the House, Hannah Montana, Pretty in Pink, Good Burger, Zapped!, Like Father Like Son, Girls Just Want to Have Fun, Lucas Tanner, Amityville 4, Charlie Bartlett, Slaughterhouse Rock, Cirque du Freak, School of Rock, Home Room, and iCarly.   But probably the most interesting fact:   Leonardo DiCaprio graduated from this school! ‘Girl Meets World’ Official Trailer

While I know I will likely not even watch this show, being a HUGE Boy Meets World fan growing up I am still happy to see this is happening. Once Corey and the gang went off to College I felt the show jumped the shark. I mean Mr. Feeny going from the grade school teacher to being principal at the high school was a stretch but was believable, but when he showed up at College even a childhood me was like “wow, this is convenient”. All that aside, I think this new show will be focused enough on the new main character (Corey and Topanga’s daughter Riley) that it will work. And don’t worry, many (if not all) of the original Boy Meets World cast will be making cameos.

Singled Out

The show that made Jenny McCarthy a star and the show Chris Hardwick will never escape! To be honest, I didn’t watch this show that much during its run in the mid 90s. I caught a marathon of it while on vacation one year and that was pretty much the bulk of my experience. In fact I think Eric’s appearance on Boy Meets World is my most vivid memory of the show. The premiss was simple enough, each episode 50 girls and 50 guys would compete for a chance to win a date with the main contestant (a very attractive member of the opposite sex). The contestant pool would get smaller and smaller with each round until their was just one winner and they and the main contestant would go back to back and then be revealed to one another. I assume after that every relationship ended in marriage. One of the best parts of the show was when (usually the girl) would turn around and could not hide the utter disappointment with the contestant …

Boy Meets World: The Sequel

With the amazing news that Boy Meets World is being developed into a sequel (Girl Meets World) where Cory and Topanga will raise their young daughter to “Meet the World,” I feel a celebration is in order. So in that spirit I give you all the opening credits to one of my favourite shows of all time. I can’t wait for the new show! And it is totally gonna happen, cause I don’t think the internet and magazines are allowed to make up stuff that isn’t real, right? RIGHT?!

Remember the Titans? It had “that guy” from “that show”

I just had this random thought the other day. I have done no research to back this up, but to be honest, I don’t know if you can because this is based on my opinion. And what is my opinion you ask? Well thanks for asking so politely and here it is: Remember The Titans might have the greatest collection of “that guy” actors ever. Now what is a “that guy” actor you ask? Wow, you are so inquizative today. Well, “that guy” actors are actors whose names you do not know but you have seen and recognize from one or a number of other films, TV shows, etc. Please allow me to present my case: Point #1: Will Patton Will Patton is a very established “that guy” actor, almost to the point that you know his name, but you don’t and that is where the magic of “that guy” is made. Patton is a seasoned vet in the acting game with notable appearances in movies such as Armageddon, The Punisher as well as countless …
