We’re Going In Another Direction: Actors “Audition” For Clueless

I’m putting as much effort into this post as W Magazine put into this video…which is very little. This is a video of Seth Rogen, Jake Gyllenhaal, Bradley Cooper and Paul Dano “auditioning” for the role of Cher is Clueless. I was pretty pumped to watch this video. However, after viewing it, the only thing I can say about it is that it is a minute and eighteen seconds long. Enjoy! Check the audition video here.

Iggy Azalea is not Clueless about Clueless

I don’t know what impresses me more the fact that in Australia the toilets flush backwards or the fact that Iggy Azalea made such an good homage to the 90s cult classic Clueless. I mean, Iggy herself was but a little Joey in her mama kangaroo’s pouch when this movie came out (Iggy was born in 1993, Clueless came out in 1995). Whether this song is your cup of tea (can of Fosters in Austraila) or not, if you love the movie Clueless, this video is worth a watch for sure. Enjoy and sorry for all to all my Australian friends for the stereotypes. Your apology package of Vegemite is in the mail!

Remember the Titans? It had “that guy” from “that show”

I just had this random thought the other day. I have done no research to back this up, but to be honest, I don’t know if you can because this is based on my opinion. And what is my opinion you ask? Well thanks for asking so politely and here it is: Remember The Titans might have the greatest collection of “that guy” actors ever. Now what is a “that guy” actor you ask? Wow, you are so inquizative today. Well, “that guy” actors are actors whose names you do not know but you have seen and recognize from one or a number of other films, TV shows, etc. Please allow me to present my case: Point #1: Will Patton Will Patton is a very established “that guy” actor, almost to the point that you know his name, but you don’t and that is where the magic of “that guy” is made. Patton is a seasoned vet in the acting game with notable appearances in movies such as Armageddon, The Punisher as well as countless …

I had a huge post intended for this movie, but then I realized all the clips I was going to show would ruin the re-watching of this movie for many of you. So I decided to simply show the trailer and say this: PLEASE go back and watch this movie. It is honestly one of the most clever and charming movies I have seen in my life. And It still holds up! A ton of movies are funny for the time they are set, but don’t hold up over the years. I really think this movie (while crazy 90s style) holds up in its comedy. It is hands down the best performances of pretty much every actor in the movie – with the exception of Paul Rudd, who rules at everything he does and makes me want to be a better man. I think it’s his eyes, so much soul behind them… Anyway, just watch this movie again and I promise you will love it. Or don’t watch it, I mean how will I know? Cher: “Isn’t my …
