Randy Newman makes fun of short people

It’s hard to reflect of some of the most iconic Pixar/Disney films without having fond memories of their soundtrack/score. Toy Story, for instance, is a film that always brings me a fuzzy warm feeling when I see the opening credits. Not only am I reminded of the loveable characters, but the films title track “You got a friend in me” will always transport me to a simpler, happier time. And whether it be the Toy Story films, Cars, A Bug’s Life or even Meet the Parents, those films wouldn’t pack the same punch without the musical stylings of one Randy Newman. If you’re not familiar with Randy Newman, here’s his story….He’s a musician who had minor success in the 1970’s but didn’t find his true calling till the 90’s when he partnered with Disney to make soundtracks for the films listed above. His voice and style are very whimsical making his songs simple, silly and fun. Oddly enough one of his biggest solo hits was a song that was wildly misinterpreted. The track was called …

Boy Meets World: The Sequel

With the amazing news that Boy Meets World is being developed into a sequel (Girl Meets World) where Cory and Topanga will raise their young daughter to “Meet the World,” I feel a celebration is in order. So in that spirit I give you all the opening credits to one of my favourite shows of all time. I can’t wait for the new show! And it is totally gonna happen, cause I don’t think the internet and magazines are allowed to make up stuff that isn’t real, right? RIGHT?!

The evolution of the Blossom opening credits

We all remember Blossom as the hottest girl to ever be on TV in the history of Television…or maybe I have the backwards…anyway, she was secondly known for her unique and…I don’t know…fun? opening credits. So let us journey back to the mid 90s and re-live the magic that was Blossom. Blossom Season 1: Blossom Dancing to a personal camcorder…these days it would be a webcam and she would no doubt be doing unspeakable acts…like that dance The Dougie. What were you thinking? Sex acts? You sick bastard. But yeah she’d probably be doing sex acts too.
