Oh this happened: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on Oprah

I watched this whole interview as a child and I remember thinking 2 things: 1. Why did they get people to dress up like the Ninja Turtles when they clearly could have gotten the real ones from the movie. 2. This is terrible. Upon re-watching this, I realized how crazy this interview was… The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles apparently were now in a band of some sort that was trying to spread the message that music is more important then violence…The Teenage Mutant NINJA Turtles thought that MUSIC was a better way to deal with problems. That aside, at least they did sing their hit song ‘Count on Us’. You know, that song we all know? You know, that song by The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? Of course you don’t! No one does! Not even the children in their prime TMNT years know it (Skip to 1:24 to prove this point). At 1:50 you see the most terrifying Shredder you’ll ever see (complete with a blood-chilling maniacal laugh). At 2:00 Oprah accuses April O’Neil of …
