Back to the Future REMIX by POGO

If you don’t know who POGO is, then I feel sorry for you. POGO is an Australian DJ known for making songs of a random sounds and vocals from videos, movies and TV. His latest remix is of Back to the Future, the 1985 classic starring Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd. Enjoy.

Pogo remixes Willy Wonka

Perhaps my favorite film from my youth (other than No Holds Barred – Hulk Hogan DUH!) was Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. The film undoubtedly still holds up today, despite the fact it was made in 1971. While made for kids the film does have many hidden adult jokes which makes it watchable today…not to mention a very scary tunnel scene. So scary in fact that during the filming, Gene Wilder’s acting was so convincing that it frightened some of the other actors. They thought that Wilder really was going mad from being in the tunnel. Australian musician/DJ POGO is also a big fan of this film. We’ve written about POGO before for his eclectic remixes of childhood classics. And of course when he posted a new remix of Willy Wonka (above) I couldn’t help but post. One of my favorite scenes in the film (which plays a big factor in my childhood obesity) is the “Candyman” sequence. POGO’s remix once was another instant classic. Watch for at 1:06, when Bill the Candyman flips …

Muppets Remixed and Autotuned = Awesomeness!

We have featured POGO on the blog many times, his work is unbelievably good. And once again, here is another one of his many great remixes entitled “Muppets Mash”. A lot of us grew up on Sesame Street…we’ll not literally on the street, but lived there every morning via our television screens. This music video brings me back to a much simpler time and hopefully it takes you there too….Enjoy. Best comment on YouTube “Childhood! Why did you leave me!?”

Why Ric Flair is Custom Made

In the 1970’s, 80’s, 90’s and even for a few years in the 2000’s, the Nature Boy Ric Flair was among the best (if not the best) wrestlers in the world. But without a shadow of a doubt he was the best interview. He was so charismatic in his interviews that you could take a series of his sound bites and cut them together to make a catchy song (without all of this auto tune BS). In fact that’s what someone has done. WOOOOOOOOOOO   And there is also this one….
