5 Cartoons From The 80s You TOTALLY Forget About

Despite being a child of the 90s, I was grew up on great 80s cartoons thanks to my two old brothers and television reruns. Cartoons of the 80s/early 90s was an era of great storytelling and serious lessons/themes being taught in each episode. Now-a-days…don’t get me started. Let’s see how many of these you forgot about… C.O.P.S. THE RACCOONS HULK HOGAN’S ROCK N’ WRESTLING FRAGGLE ROCK: THE ANIMATED SHOW HEATHCLIFF AND THE CATILLAC CATS

Ladies and Gentlemen: Garfield and Friends

He is our favourite lasagna cat who spent his days tormenting Odie and annoying his handler Jon Arbuckle, the creation of Jim Davis known as Garfield the cat. I never could understood why Garfield loved lasagna so much? I fed my cat lasagne once and he just puked and died….I don’t get it? But Garfield wasn’t my favourite character on the show. I could never get behind him because of his lack of respect towards Jon. All Jon wanted was to make a modest living as a cartoonist and settle down with a lucky lady. But after several disappointing dates with Dr. Liz, Jon and his nerdy demeanor could not recover. And from my perspective, it was all Garfield’s fault. After all Jon had a steady job, a house and a full head of hair, aka the Perfect Catch. But then again Jon did live a pretty boring lifestyle, as displayed in this re-enactment of the classic comic strip, video by Fatal Farm.

The Wuzzles: Talk About a Split Personality

This was a show called The Wuzzles. I don’t remember a whole lot about this show, but I did watch it quite a bit as a kid. Most of the time when I talk about this show to people they have no idea what I am talking about. The basic premise was that all the animals that live on the Isle of Wuz are hybrids of two different animals. There was Bumblelion who was half bumble bee and half lion, Eleroo who was half elephant and half kangaroo, Moosel who was half moose and half seal and the list goes on. Again, I don’t remember a ton about this show other than that I enjoyed it as a kid. If I had to take a guess at the premise, I would say they were attempting to solve the JFK assassination?
