I don’t Care if it’s Ironic or Not: This Song Rules

Alanis Morissette blew up in the 90s with her “Jagged Little Pill” album, led by the single “Ironic.” Now, I realize almost all of the instances she describes in the song aren’t technically what the dictionary describes as ironic, but I don’t care. The song is fucking fantastic. And to be quite honest, so is the rest of the record. Which is why it is one of the biggest selling records of all time. Anywhere. Ever. And, she is Canadian! So everyone who takes issue with the content of this song – SUCK IT! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jne9t8sHpUc

My Childhood Summed Up in Awesome Television Programs

How bout THIS group of 90’s television programs, huh! My childhood memories of television can essentially be summed up with these four awesome shows. Most of them aired in the morning before I went to school and then again right after I was home from school. They also aired on multiple different networks at various times throughout the day, making it virtually impossible to escape viewings. And I was completely fine with that. I bet I have seen almost 100 percent of every episode aired of all of these shows. I still cannot determine which one I would put on the top of my list, because they are all awesome. Flat out! I loved Zack and Kelly, I loved Joey and Jesse, I loved Carl and Urkel and I loved Will and Carlton. Such an impossible choice. What was/is your favourite amongst these wicked programs? Don’t even try to tell me you didn’t watch at least a couple of them, because you did. Get at us! Here are all four of the title sequences from these shows, …

My Top Ten: Songs I will Never Tire Of

. If you are an enthusiast, or even share a remote interest in music, you likely have some form of a list to rank your favourite songs. A list with some kind of personal criteria that suits your interests. In this post, I will be sharing the top 10 songs that I will absolutely, positively, undoubtedly never, ever tire of, ever, no matter how many times I hear them. Without further adieu, here they are: 10. Sweet Dreams by The Eurythmics: I was very young when I heard this song for the first time. I had no idea who sang in until about 2 weeks ago, but it has managed to stay etched in my memory and make the 10th spot in my list. I think part of the reason is because radio stations pulled the song from airwaves because it was overplayed so much upon its release, which maybe somehow enhanced my appreciation for it. Either way, I love it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qeMFqkcPYcg 9. American Pie by Don McLean: How on earth McLean never had another hit …

The Many Introduction Sequences of WWE Monday Night Raw!

World Wrestling Entertainment’s flagship program ‘Monday Night raw’ has undergone several changes to its introduction sequences over its 20 year existence. Not only the theme song itself but the video packages that accompany the songs as well. Below is a link that compromises every different song and video sequence that ‘Raw’ has had from 1993 onward. My favourite theme was the Union Underground’s “Across the Nation.” I liked the song so much I bought their record “An Education in Rebellion.” It was solid. What is your favourite? Personally, I think the newest song, “Tonight is the Night” is the worst theme they have ever had.
