This is a fun little episode from Screen Junkies featuring rarely seen Star Wars interviews. The interviews are pretty interesting, as you would think the cast of Star Wars would know most of the details and plot of a movie they spent months working on. However, it turns out you could turn to your mother right now and ask her to break down the Star Wars movies and she would probably do as good a job as any of the actors of the original films did. Well, ThinkGeek has done it again. I mean, is there anything these fine folks can’t create? Yes, they can’t create a desire for your parents to be proud of you. How’s that Philosophy degree working out for ya? Anywho, this is a pretty sweet coffee press made in the image of Star Wars fan favorite R2-D2. No word yet if it does R2’s famed scream when you pour out the coffee but fingers crossed!

To actually be able to read this click here for a larger version. This is an infographic of what it would cost us to actually construct a functional AT-AT from Star Wars. I’m not sure why this was made by a website that rates British casinos, but my first guess is that it’s a marketing ploy. Although, maybe we are all gonna win so much money at one of the casinos that they rate, that we’ll be able to piss away millions on giant functioning AT-ATs! The system works!

Art of the Title: A Brief History of Title Design

This is a fun little video for those who like title design (and who doesn’t?). It’s a presentation video for the SXSW “Excellence in Title Design” competition screening which features brief moments from over 70 movies and tv show’s opening credits (or title design if you will). It is a bit interesting that some titles are not even featured in the video, but the person who created this is obviously way more creative then I am, so I’ll assume I am an idiot that doesn’t get it (much like I do with Harry Potter).
