Pixel Art of Every WWE World Heavyweight Champion

Big WWE fan and talented pixel artist Christopher Grimm has created this awesome portrait of every WWE Heavyweight Champion since 1963. The attention to detail for a pixelated picture is pretty awesome, not to mention it is bursting with Nostalgic memories for anyone who grew up a Wrestling fan. I’ve included the names of every wrestler in the tags, so make sure you memorize the answers then you can impress your friends by naming them all! Oh, just don’t let them read that last sentence…

The Ultimate Warrior Meets Arsenio Hall

Ready for five and a half minutes of randomness? Well then check out this clip of when The Ultimate Warrior was a guest on the Arsenio Hall show. There is a lot of speculation that the warrior was on cocaine at the time. In my opinion, he is awake, so of course he is on cocaine. However, I don’t think that is what makes this weird or odd or whatever. I think what kind of handcuffs Arsenio in this situation is that at this time period of wrestling, wrestlers always had to be in character to keep up the illusion of wrestling being “real”. I must say all things considered, Arsenio did a great job and makes this a pretty fun watch. Enjoy.

Ultimate Warrior vs. Phil Collins

The recent passing of The Ultimate Warrior has made me sad for many different reasons. Not only am I sad because we lost the Warrior so soon after he made peace with the WWE. Yes that’s right, for so some strange reason in 1990 while promoting a new album/VHS tape, Phil Collins thought it would be good marketing to cross promote with the World Wrestling Federation Champion The Ultimate Warrior. The end result is what many call “WrestleCrap”.

RIP Ultimate Warrior

It is with a very heavy heart that I write this post about the passing of one of my childhood heroes….The Ultimate Warrior. He passed away Tuesday evening at the age of 54. Signs are pointing to a massive heart attack, but nothing has been confirmed yet. The Ultimate Warrior started his wrestling career in the mid 80s. After tag teaming with Sting (together known as The Blade Runners), he entered the World Wrestling Federation as the Dingo Warrior. Of course no one really knew what a Dingo Warrior was, so he became The Ultimate Warrior. His wild persona, face paint, insanely muscular body and smash mouth style made him a hot commodity in the WWF. Pretty soon he was the Intercontinental Champion on his way to challenging Hulk Hogan for the Heavyweight Championship. Their clash at WrestleMania VI was always one of my favorite matches. Despite being a huge Hulkamaniac, it was an epic sight seeing Warrior be the first person to truly dethrone the Hulkster. This was the highest peak of Warriors career. …
