In honor of celebrating 100 years of films (65 good ones, am I right?) Paramount has commissioned this pretty awesome poster to commemorate the milestone and you know what? I think it’s pretty neat. Back in 1986 Marvel decided to take a shot at one their own comic books saving a rock icon just as DC did years earlier. However, much like DC couldn’t get the rights to use The Beatles name, it appears Marvel couldn’t lock Bruce Springsteen into a deal, but you think that stopped them from using Bruce and the E Street Band’s likeness? HELLS NO! The comic basically drew the band in perfect likeness but used some pretty genius writing to cover their tracks. How genius? Well I’ll tell you Tony (all of our readers are named Tony today). They named the lead singer Brick Springhorn and had him sing hit songs like “Born in America” and “Dancing in the Night”. So, the heroic Transformers were likely saving Brick Springhorn from the Decepticons during a rousing version of “Dancing in the Night” which probably sounded/looked like this, but in this version I like to think Ironhide is doing the dance instead of Courtney Cox.
With the NBA All-Star Game this past weekend, we thought it would be cool to feature some awesome NBA logo/Retro Cartoon mashups by VanilaBCN Studio. You might ask what do NBA logos and cartoons such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Transformers, G.I. Joe, Care Bears, Flintstones, He-Man and Ghostbusters have to do with one another? And to that I say, Enjoy the pictures!
The original Awkward Cartoon Moments post we did was way back in 2013, which coincidentally was the last time I saw a girl naked. “Ben, was it really 2013 the last time you saw a girl naked? Or was it never?” You are right, it was never. I’ve never seen a girl naked. Well this is awkward…much like these cartoon photos, Enjoy! Fairly Odd Parents I never saw this show but seeing this I am interested….very interested. Donald Duck Every goddamn morning. Pokemon? (Not sure what show this is) WOW! Now I know why so many guys I knew were into this show. Naruto Maybe I shouldn’t include anymore Anime on this list. I feel like this stuff is intentional. That’s it! I’m done with Anime! What the fuck? Arthur He was told if he plays with it, it might go off. Superman I would expect nothing less from the man of steel. Spider-Man Proof that Dr. Doom sucks.
Coming Soon: Playstation and SEGA Transformer consoles! These bad boys are retailing for $100 and as you can see, transform from regular boring old consoles into awesomely cool robots! One slight design flaw. These consoles don’t actually play video games. So when your friends come over excited to play some old school Playstation and/or SEGA video games, you can kindly explain that these consoles don’t play games but the fact that they turn into robots is way cooler. Good luck with that.
