A young girl who loves to dance and is ready to marry, chooses a log driver over his more well-to-do, land-loving competition. I’m sure many outsiders must think that this is Johnny Everyman up in the cold country of Canada. I grew up listening to the Log Driver’s Waltz and now many decades later I can tell you that I have never known, or known of, a single Log Driver.
