I think it is safe to say all the times I’ve talked about how amazing Top Gun is on this blog probably had something to do with this happening. That’s right…Ice…Man…Top Gun, along with fellow amazing movies, Ghostbusters and The Shawshank Redemption (and a bunch of others) have been added to the National Film Registry so that the lasting images of aviator sunglasses and playing beach volleyball in shorts will be preserved forever!
